The Canadian Association of Ambulatory Care (CAAC) is an organization dedicated to improving ambulatory patient care experiences. The underlying principle of ambulatory care relates to the fact that a significant proportion of inpatient care can be managed safely and appropriately on a same day basis without admission to a hospital bed, which translates to great savings on the healthcare system.
As an association, the CAAC continues to innovate and evaluate itself, making it one of the most successful and influential associations in Canada.
